Architect designed 70's house with views of fire and water

Nestled undisturbed with a view of the sea and surrounded by nature, lies an architect-designed villa from 1971. The house has undergone a thorough yet gentle renovation, where great care has been taken to preserve the original ambiance of the house's era.

The former open fireplace has been fitted with a RAIS 600 fireplace insert, which harmonizes with the simple and classic villa. The fireplace insert was adapted in the original solid-built fireplace, so the expression is preserved and matches the simplicity that characterizes the entire house.

'We are very pleased with the fireplace insert, which burns perfectly and "melts" into the original fireplace,' says Jeanette Mørk.

During the renovation of the villa, the choice fell on very few and Nordic materials such as Norwegian Alta slate and oak. The philosophy that all load-bearing elements are visible makes this architect-designed villa a unique and well-preserved villa.

In keeping with the spirit of the times, the house's simple construction has been preserved. The construction consists of large window sections from floor to ceiling, which are stretched between bricked gables. All beams are painted black, as is all the woodwork in the house - except for the few doors in the house, which are in matt, lacquered oak.

The large window sections in the living room are combined with the built-in fireplace insert, and together they form a beautiful and relaxing view of fire and water. In this way, the elements of nature are felt right inside the living room.
